General view :

The Rayak Hospital Administration has been aware, since the hospital establishment in the year 1995, about the importance of the Medical Archive section and its confidentiality. Therefore, it has provided a special big place for the Medical Archive, which is equipped with tools for fire fighting, and where all rules of Occupational Health and Safety are respected.

- The medical records are of great importance and it is considered obligatory to record every specific detail concerning the patient diagnosis and treatment plan. Moreover, medical record is important to detect and evaluate sections performance, and to help prepare accurate patient bills ,  and to insure legal protection.
The medical records are considered as a very important source of information for medical studies and statistics. And to prove that policies and procedures are effective.

Archive section Vision :

  • Making sure that medical information is complete, accurate, and safe.
  • Preserving confidentiality of medical records .
  • Developing policies and procedures to be suitable for this vision to adapt with every new to improve performance.
  • To improve the section services to meet sections and  the out side demands.
  • Employees training in every new in archive.
  • Keeping the most modern techniques and equipments to save medical information such as (scanner) to ease the use of this informatio

Section Mission :

  • To complete all missing information   in the medical record.
  • To provide the medical file with a previously prepared list which eases the way to check all medical information
  • To organize the way of stocking medical files on the shelves.
  • To make sure that patients are admitted under the same number they were given before  in order to maintain continuity of medical history.

Section Goals :

To stay up to date with every modern IT programs which help and ease the work flow in the medical archive in order to be able to provide all sections with required service on time. Also to prepare studies and statistics to improve performance.

To establish special E- mail for the archive section which may ease the communication lines between this section and the various hospitals around the world to get consultations or medical tests or to exchange information
