The pharmacy at Rayak hospital aims at:
Providing all kinds of medications for all sections, and some of the paramedical for some patients.
To choose the Best Quality for the medications which are recognized by the Official Health Authorities inside and out side Lebanon.
Preserving medications within required conditions distributing them, and controlling their validity dates.
Monitoring their chemical and physical effectiveness.
To work on insuring the requirements of the medical acts within best conditions for the doctors and depending on the General policy of the hospital.
To insure Good Medications within suitable prices.
Providing all hospital sections with medication stock and paramedical that enables it to answer all requests in case of pharmacy closure.
The medication stock is monitored by the sections supervisors periodically. Also it is monitored by the responsible pharmacist who controls the quality and the stock age of the medication.
Some kinds of medications are subject to special procedures concerning the expenditure process. Such as Drugs- Psychological Drugs –Antibiotics.
Dr. Najah Abdallah is the Pharmacist who directs the pharmacy at Rayak Hospital. She attends all concerning conferences, Francophone or Lebanese. In addition to all activities that are organized by the Pharmacists Syndicate in Lebanon.
